Jens Dieckmann to Participate in Oxford University Panel Debate on Victim Participation in International Criminal Justice

Associate member of 9 Bedford Row International, Jens Dieckmann, will appear as a panellist in an Oxford University event entitled ‘Victim Participation in International Criminal Justice: Real Power or Empty Rhetoric?’ The seminar will provide a platform of discussion for this important topic and will deal with issues that have been raised about victim participation in cases involving the International Criminal Court and the Extraordinary Chambers in the Courts of Cambodia.

Jens will be participating in this debate along with fellow panelists: Ruti Teitel, Saranda Bogujvci and Sara Kendall. Rudina Jasini (Economic and Social Research Council GCRF Postdoctoral Fellow, University of Oxford, Faculty of Law) will act as moderator.

The event will take place on Friday, 3rd November 2017 (11:00-14:00) at the White & Case Lecture Theatre, Faculty of Law, St Cross Building, OX1 3UL, Oxford.
