On Thursday the International Criminal Court was urged by Iraq’s Yazidi minority to investigate the Islamic State group (ISIS) upon allegations of genocide and sexual slavery. These charges stem back to August 2014, when jihadists slaughtered many Yazidis and abducted large numbers as they advanced on the town of Sinjar in Northern Iraq.
