A blog has been launched as part of the International Criminal Court’s Outreach Unit. The Unit is dedicated to performing activities that promote an understanding of the Court’s mandate in communities and countries where the ICC is working and that are affected by crimes under its jurisdiction. The blog details the efforts of the ICC staff in trying to “engage grassroots communities and inform them about victims’ rights, explain judicial proceedings, answer questions, address concerns, and foster realistic expectations about the Court’s work.”
