Gillian Higgins to Lead “Introduction to Mindfulness for Lawyers Session”, Supported by The Law Society

Gillian Higgins from The Chambers of 9 Bedford Row will be leading the Introduction to Mindfulness for Lawyers session, supported by The Law Society on 2nd April 2019.

The session is suitable for both beginners and experienced practitioners. It introduces the concept of mindfulness and provides guidance on how to incorporate it into your life at home and work. Come and learn about the recognised benefits of mindfulness and how developing these practices can help you to reduce stress, improve focus, sleep better and enjoy an improved sense of wellbeing.

The next Mindfulness for Lawyers session will be held on 21st May 2019, led by Robert Chender, lawyer and Co-chair of the Mindfulness and Wellbeing Committee for the New York City Bar Association.

The Mindfulness in Law Group was created to serve as a resource for law professionals (and others working in the legal industry) to both learn and deepen mindfulness practice and to promote wellbeing and mindfulness education in the profession.
