Later today an event is taking place at The Law Society in Chancery Lane, London, aimed at those interested in developing a career in human rights law. 9BRi barrister Eeva Heikkilä will be one of the guest speakers, offering advice and answering the queries of participants.
The event intends to inform attendees how human rights campaigners, solicitors, academics, civil servants and barristers started their careers. It will also contain breakout sessions that will enable questions about internships, applications and interviews to be put forward by participants, and the chance for them to gain advice from working practitioners as well as hearing from some of the UK’s leading human rights lawyers.
This event has been co-organized by the student wing of the Human Rights Lawyers Association.
