The Bar Council has released an International Practice Information Pack. The aim of this pack is to help practitioners that are planning to work internationally. It hopes to assist them in learning about the regulations that apply to overseas work as well as the soft skills needed in international marketing and the business risks of taking instructions from clients that are based abroad.
This pack should also be useful for experienced counsel who already have an international practice as they need to be updated with the rule changes brought in by the Bar Standards Board Handbook in 2014.
