The 3rd EU-South Africa Structured Dialogue Forum on Human Rights took place on Friday, 11th December. Both parties engaged in lengthy talks on issues of mutual interest such as human rights defenders, peaceful protests, civil society space, reprisals, racism, preventing and countering violent extremism.
Both sides also exchanged information on current developments and discussions regarding the International Criminal Court, including those relating to the context and role of the Assembly of State Parties.
