The 12-year prison term of Congolese militia leader Germain Katanga has been reduced by the International Criminal Court. A panel of three judges from the war crimes tribunal in The Hague chose to reduce Katanga’s sentence to eight years and four months citing his willingness to work with the court on its investigations.
