Steven Kay QC heads 9 Bedford Row’s International team. He is a leading international criminal lawyer with a global reputation who has been in many of the landmark cases that have established modern international criminal law. He currently represents President Uhuru Kenyatta in ongoing ICC matters. David Hammond joined chambers in February bringing with him a new maritime practice area based upon 21 years as a former Royal Marine and naval barrister. He is the author of both the 100 Series Rules and the subsequent human rights at sea maritime industry initiative which has seen him short-listed as one of the finalists for the Lloyds List Global Awards 2013 Maritime Lawyer of the Year.
